Following allegations that she caused harm to two children while she was working at a daycare in Indiana on October 22, she is currently facing criminal charges.
With charges of battery, Jordan Combs, age 23, from Harrison, Ohio, is currently being held in the Dearborn County Jail.
At the time of the crimes, Combs was allegedly working as a teacher in the toddler room of a daycare facility located in Lawrenceburg, according to the prosecutors from Dearborn County.
According to the police, an employee observed that one of the toddlers had a swollen section of their upper lip.
The prosecutors say that when they looked at the footage from the security camera, it showed that Combs was in the room with the toddler by herself when she picked the child up off the floor and aggressively forced the girl onto the cot.
The mouth injury was allegedly caused by the child’s head colliding with the cot, according to the prosecution.
According to the documents filed with the court, investigators also viewed a video that showed Combs “rudely” placing a blanket over the head of the young girl.
Prosecutors have stated that Comb was also seen forcibly grabbing another young girl by the arm and placing her on her back, causing her head to hit the ground. This information was included in the court records.
There is currently a lack of clarity regarding whether or not Combs is still working at the daycare.
