According to Acting District Fire Chief Eric Uhlhorn, a fire in Oakley on Friday night caused the displacement of two adults and one child.
According to Ulhorn, firefighters were dispatched to the 3000 block of Minot Avenue around 9:50 p.m. after receiving reports of a house fire.
When crews arrived, the homeowner met them in the front yard and directed them to the fire.
Firefighters discovered a fire on the second floor that had spread from the bathroom to the hallway, Ulhorn explained.
Ulhorn explains that an exterior attack was launched, and the fire was extinguished within 10 minutes.
The damage is estimated to be around $25,000, but firefighters were able to save the majority of the home, Ulhorn said.
