The Bay Area will soon have In-N-Out’s newest site. The fast food company said in a press release that the restaurant at 709 Harder Ave. in Hayward will open on Thursday, Oct. 3.
It will be open every day from 10:30 a.m. to 1 a.m., and on Friday and Saturday until 1:30 a.m., just like all the other In-N-Out restaurants. This In-N-Out is about a mile from the campus of Cal State East Bay.
In the beginning of the year, the popular West Coast burger company closed an East Bay In-N-Out in Oakland, making it the first location ever to close. The Hayward restaurant would be opening in August, while the building was still being built.
People who want to eat at the Hayward In-N-Out should be ready for a lot of people, especially late at night. There is a new Raising Cane’s restaurant that opened next door in August.
For the first few weeks, there were always big lines to eat inside and outside. Around 10 p.m. in August. It took about an hour to get its famous chicken fingers.
The Hayward In-N-Out should get about the same amount of customers.
A press statement from the company said that Tawny Blow, who has worked at In-N-Out for 21 years, will be in charge of the Hayward location. About 80 people will be hired by the diner, and the starting wage is $23 an hour. Visit In-N-Out’s website to learn more about job openings.
