Texas Hit as DOGE Plans to Shut Down 26 Social Security Offices Across the U.S.

Several Social Security Administration (SSA) offices will close this year as a result of cost-cutting measures implemented by the Trump administration through the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).

According to the DOGE website, a number of federal leases will be terminated. How many Social Security offices will close in Texas and beyond? Here’s what you should know.
