A teenager is now charged with homicide in the death of his younger brother.
Jordan Mosley, 16, was initially charged with reckless endangerment of another person and possession of a firearm by a minor in January following what he claimed was an accidental shooting.
According to court documents, Jordan and his 14-year-old brother Carmello were playing with guns at their East Liberty home on Jan. 4 while no one else was present, when Jordan accidentally shot him in the head.
Carmello later died from his injuries.
Carmello’s death was ruled a homicide on January 28. According to updated court documents, Jordan was charged with criminal homicide on Tuesday.
