Two people accused of stealing over $1,100 worth of Target products were nabbed Thursday in San Mateo, according to police.
San Mateo Police received a call on Thursday night reporting that there had just been a theft at the Target store located in the Bridgepointe Shopping Center.
Two individuals, according to a Target employee who spoke with police, grabbed things from the shop and fled through the parking lot in the direction of Bridgepointe Parkway.
After a short while of searching, the responding officers in the 2200 block of Bridgepointe Parkway discovered and apprehended two suspects, according to the police.
The products that the two are suspected of stealing from Target totaling about $1,100 have all been returned to the business by the authorities.
The suspects, who were both from Redding and aged 31 and 38, were taken into custody and placed in the San Mateo County Jail.
Police said the 31-year-old suspect was taken into custody on suspicion of second-degree burglary, organized retail theft, and possession of a controlled substance.
According to police, the 38-year-old suspect was taken into custody on charges of second-degree burglary and organized retail theft.
