Supplemental Security Income (SSI) payments aren’t always sent on the same day every month. Checks and direct deposits are usually sent out on the first of the month. The Social Security Administration has set the direct deposits and checks for November 29 because it won’t be possible to send them on December 1. That’s 48 hours ahead of time, or two days.
How much money will SSI recipients get on November 29, 2024?

Will the November 29 SSI payment include the cost-of-living adjustment (2025 COLA)?
The December SSI payment, which is due on November 29, 2024, will not include the 2025 COLA increase. People who get benefits will have to wait until December 31, 2024, to use the 2025 COLA increase.
Supplemental Security Income (SSI) recipients will get the 2.5% extra much sooner than people who get retirement or disability benefits from Social Security. Everyone else will have to wait until January 2025 to get it.
Remember that people who are retired or who get SSDI will get their first payments in January from January 3, 2025, to January 22, 2025. If you have little or no money and a low income, you can apply for SSI.
