The theft happened Thursday afternoon in Town & Country Village. Two women wearing medical scrubs went into a Bluemercury cosmetics shop and stole about $3,000 worth of goods.
About 3 p.m., the women with big shopping bags came into the store and started stealing makeup, which Lt. Con Maloney said they squished into the bags. After about four minutes, they left the shop and were last seen walking towards El Camino Real, according to the police.
The two suspects were said to be black women between the ages of 25 and 35. They were both about 5 feet 5 inches tall. They were all wearing pink medical clothes, a medical face mask, and a black wig with a ponytail. One of them was big. The other person was skinny and wore blue clothes and a face mask for work.
Police said the shop employees didn’t do anything because they didn’t want to get into a fight with the suspects.
