Police arrest suspect in 'peeping' incident at a San Jose school

It was reported that someone was trespassing and “peeping” at a San Jose school. The school said that the suspect was in police custody.

The event was reported at Bret Harte Middle School on Monday. The police said they were looking into it and wouldn’t say anything else on Thursday.

Toni Sell, a parent, said, “We’re glad that the suspect was found.”

Sell also said she was happy with how the police, the school district, and the neighbors handled the situation.

“Very thankful to the neighbors in the community who shared their surveillance camera footage to help the police in their investigation,” he said.

The San Jose Unified School District has called a meeting for Friday to talk about what happened and how to make things safer.
