Colerain Township Police Chief Edwin Cordie III told WCPO that a woman was found dead in a fire Saturday evening.
The fire started Saturday around 4 p.m. at a home in the 8300 block of Stahley Drive. Several mobile homes line the dead-end street off of Galbraith Road.
Firefighters were able to extinguish the fire, which prevented it from spreading to neighboring homes in the residential park.
Cordie reported that a woman, who has not been identified, was discovered dead in her home. First responders also discovered three dead cats.
The cause of the fire is currently unknown.
