People in the state of Colorado can apply for a stimulus check worth up to $1,600 to help them out financially. This program is especially made to help adults and people with disabilities who are low-income.

Applicants must show proof that they will live in Colorado for the whole year of 2023. You also can’t show up as someone else’s dependent on their federal tax return.
In Colorado, people who want this aid check must meet certain requirements:
- Be aged 65 or older, or have a recognized disability, regardless of age.
- Single applicants must have an annual income of less thanĀ $18,026.
- Those filing joint returns must have a combined income of less thanĀ $24,345.
When Will the Colorado Stimulus Check Arrive?
The government of the state says that direct payments will be sent out on October 5, 2024, and paper checks will be mailed on October 15, 2024. It is important to know that applications sent in before December 31, 2025, will be handled and direct deposits will be sent within 10 weeks. Paper checks will be sent within 12 weeks of receipt.

To get this benefit, all you have to do is sign up on the website of the Colorado Department of Revenue. Either an ITIN (Individual Taxpayer Identification Number) or an SSN (Social Security Number) will be required.
