Parts of the Bay Area may experience power outages starting on Thursday Here's what to know

PG&E is telling people in five counties in the Bay Area that their power could be cut off because of the risk of wildfires.

The power company says it might turn off power to parts of Alameda, Contra Costa, Napa, Solano, and Sonoma Counties for safety reasons.
