When a citizen begins to collect their monthly SNAP Food Stamps benefit, they may notice that the payment schedule is slightly different from the rest.
Social Security payments in the United States are delivered on different days of the month depending on which group of retirees we belong to. But the SSA schedule is federal, whereas SNAP is state-based.
To receive the new SNAP Food Stamps payment before the end of March, we must determine whether our state will send the check soon. It is possible that this check has already been sent, so we must carefully review the payment schedule before claiming a late check from USDA.
