NBA All-Star 2025 voting: Key findings from the second fan vote returns to decide starting lineups

The 2025 NBA All-Star Game is just over a month away, and we’re one step closer to finding out which players will start.

Fan voting for the 2025 NBA All-Star Game began on December 19 and will run until January 20.

Each Thursday during that time period, the NBA releases results from fan voting before announcing the starters on Thursday, January 23.

Since 2017, the NBA All-Star fan vote has accounted for 50% of the vote to determine starters, with the remaining 50% split evenly between current players and a media panel.

This year’s All-Star Game format has been revamped to include a four-team mini-tournament, but 10 starters will be announced as in previous years.

The second NBA All-Star fan vote results will be released on Thursday, Jan. 9, providing an updated picture of where things stand.

Starters will be revealed in two weeks, with the new NBA All-Star Draft taking place in February.

Here are the second round of All-Star Game voting results and what they could mean for this year’s event.
