Multiple bomb threats were investigated across Connecticut

It has been determined that the bomb threats that were reported across the state of Connecticut are not credible.

At New Life Church in Wallingford and Corner Stone Church in Cheshire, threats were made on Sunday. Both churches are located, respectively.

Additionally, on Sunday morning, the Waterbury Police Department received a report of a bomb threat that was directed at the campus of the University of Connecticut in Waterbury.

Police from Waterbury, security from the University of Connecticut, and state police conducted a search of the campus, which is normally closed on Sundays.

The campus was completely transparent and was not considered credible.

It has been indicated by officials in charge of dispatch that these threats are most likely connected to one another.

State police have also mentioned that all of the calls have originated from international IP addresses.

Investigating the origin of these threats is something that the authorities are continuing to do.
