A man from Cincinnati is being charged with multiple offenses after it is alleged that he was the supplier of drugs that resulted in the fatal overdose of a woman from Clermont County.
According to the investigators, Regina Baker, who was 57 years old, passed away in May as a result of an overdose on drugs, including fentanyl and xylazine.
At the end of May, the Clermont County Sheriff’s Office initiated an investigation into Baker’s death.
During the course of the investigation, they identified a suspect who they believe was responsible for delivering drugs to Baker prior to her passing.
Investigators have determined that Keith Miles was the one who sold the drugs to Baker and then delivered them to her residence in Monroe Township just a few hours before she passed away.
Monday was the day that Miles was taken into custody. Involuntary manslaughter and drug trafficking are the charges that have been brought against him.
