Police in Ohio arrested a woman for allegedly stalking her ex-boyfriend and stealing his wallet to make over $1,000 in Amazon charges on his credit card.
Hannah Freeman, a 27-year-old educator at North Ridgeville City Schools near Cleveland, faces charges of menacing by stalking and aggravated theft, according to court records.
On Nov. 7, body camera and surveillance footage show Freeman arriving at the school where he worked and sitting in her car in the parking lot.
Westlake Police officers responded to the victim’s school. She claimed her ex-boyfriend had invited her to the school, but he denied this.
In the redacted body camera footage, the victim stated, “She probably would say that.” “She actually followed me to my apartment yesterday,” the victim explained.
She actually stole items from my car, including medications that I require, my car keys, which I was able to reclaim from her, a laptop, my wallet, and a number of charges on one of my credit cards.”
Officers approached her car and asked about her presence. She denied breaking into his car or stalking him, claiming she received an invitation.

Police then arrested her. She is now released on bond. WKYC, a Cleveland NBC affiliate, obtained an affidavit revealing that Freeman visited the victim’s workplace 33 times within 19 days.
She also allegedly charged more than $1,000 to his credit card on Amazon. According to a statement from North Ridgeville Schools, the district has placed Freeman on administrative leave and is cooperating with the investigation.
