How Scott Peterson Could Be Unleashed: The Loophole Allowing Caged Killer of Pregnant Wife and Son to Escape From Jail After 20 Years Behind Bars

Scott Peterson may be able to walk free after a shocking decision. He has been in California prison for twenty years for killing his pregnant 27-year-old wife Laci and their unborn son Conner.

Peterson, who is 51 years old, was recently given access to important information about the deaths in 2002. This could lead to a new trial and an acquittal!

Penal Code 1054.9, which went into effect on January 1, 2003, told the judge in San Mateo County Superior Court that Peterson could have a post-conviction discovery time. The judge agreed.

People who were found guilty of serious or violent felonies and given sentences of 15 years or more in prison can now see materials that were “in the possession of the prosecution and law enforcement authorities to which the same defendant would have been entitled at the time of trial.”

Laci went missing on Christmas Eve 2002, eight months pregnant. Peterson called the police to report her missing from their Modesto home.

The jailbird says that when he got home from a fishing trip by himself, his wife of five years, who has dimples, was nowhere to be found.

However, less than four months later, her armless, rotting torso and the couple’s unborn son were found on the shore of Point Isabel.

It was not possible to find out how Laci died, but police think her body may have been weighed down at the wrists and legs and then submerged in water.
