The Wildcats did well by taking a set in their loss to Mitty, and they were close the whole way (25-22, 25-19, 25-23) even though St. Francis beat them all. The next two WCAL games for SI are against Archbishop Riordan and Sacred Heart Cathedral. They will try to build on their close win against the Lancers.

No. 5 SAN RAMON VALLEY

Previous ranking: 4

After losing to Amador Valley 3-2, SRV fell one spot, but they are still in first place in the EBAL with a 10-2 record. In non-league play, the Wolves also beat Carondelet and Liberty, the second time in three tries. This week, they will play Monte Vista, another team in the EBAL running.

No. 6 CARONDELET

No. 7 FOOTHILL
