Heat star Jimmy Butler trade rumors tracker: Latest information on the Warriors, Rockets, and other possible destinations

The Jimmy Butler era of Heat basketball appears to be coming to an end.

Butler has stated unequivocally that he no longer wishes to be a part of the organization after five and a half seasons and two Finals appearances.

Following a loss to the Pacers on January 2, Butler questioned his ability to rediscover his joy on the court while wearing a Miami uniform, laying the groundwork for the situation to unravel.

Shortly after Butler’s media session, ESPN’s Shams Charania and Brian Windhorst reported that Butler expressed a desire to be traded and “is open to playing anywhere other than Miami.”

As both parties appear to be heading for a split, The Sporting News will keep you up to date on the latest developments involving Butler and the trade market.
