GREEN BAY, Wis. —  The Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) has reportedly ‘recommended’ the termination of a lease for a Social Security Administration office in Green Bay.

The DOGE is a ‘temporary contracted organization’ that President Donald Trump established to reduce government spending. President Trump also appointed Elon Musk to lead the Department.

The official DOGE Government website’s savings tab lists numerous locations under its ‘Real Estate’ table, identifying the agency, location, square footage, and value of a building; however, no actual addresses are provided.

One of the numerous agencies listed is the Social Security Administration office in Green Bay.

The DOGE website does not specify the address of the Green Bay agency building; however, the Social Security Administration website lists only one Social Security Office in Green Bay, which is located at 1561 Dousman Street.

Clicking on the DOGE website’s listing displays the following:

According to the listing, it would be a true consolidation termination, saving approximately $131,145 if the lease is renewed for another five years.

There are also a few other agency buildings in Wisconsin listed as potential or actual terminations:

  • Defense Contract Management Agency – National: Merrill (agency closed office)
  • United States Fish and Wildlife Service: Madison (agency closed office)
  • Department of Defense: Milwaukee (move to federal space)

This story will be updated as more information about the address or location become available.
