Hamilton, Ohio (WKRC) – The Hamilton Planning Commission has approved plans to convert the historic YWCA building on the corner of Dayton and Third streets into 43 market-rate apartments.
The renovation project, which is expected to cost approximately $5.5 million, will mostly include one-bedroom and studio flats, with some two-bedroom apartments also available.
The facility has been vacant since the YWCA moved to a new location more than two years ago. The restoration will retain the structure’s historic exterior.
