CPD: 15-year-old arrested for murder of a guy shot and died in College Hill

A 15-year-old has been charged with murder in relation to a fatal shooting in College Hill overnight.

The Cincinnati Police Department said officers responded to reports of a shooting around 12:30 a.m. Thursday in the 1600 block of Pasadena Avenue.

When officers arrived, they discovered 30-year-old Levonte Hyde, who had been shot several times. Hyde was taken to the University of Cincinnati Medical Centre, where he died of his injuries.

Police announced Thursday afternoon the arrest of a 15-year-old boy in connection with Hyde’s death. He was charged with murder.
