Confirmed Gas Prices in the United States for December: Price Changes

Today, the new gas prices for the whole US were made official. These are big changes that will affect drivers all over the country. The latest information from the American Automobile Association (AAA) shows that the following fuels cost an average of the following amounts per gallon:

  • Regular: $3,023.
  • Medium: $3,503.
  • Premium: $3,852
  • Diesel: $3,504
  • E85: $2,457

These changes show that the energy industry has been very unstable over the past few months, due to changes in international markets, the cost of production, and ongoing rules about the environment.

Regular gasoline prices have gone up a little and are now $3.023 per gallon, which is a little more than they were in the past. Premium fuel, on the other hand, costs $3.852 per gallon, which could be a problem for people who drive high-performance cars that need higher octane fuel.

Diesel, on the other hand, stayed about the same at $3.504 per gallon. At $2.457 per gallon, E85 (a mix of gasoline and ethanol) is still the most affordable option, making it a good choice for people who want to use alternative fuels.
