On Friday evening, a woman from the Bay Area claims that she was assaulted by a group of adolescents while she was walking home from Oakland as she had just picked up pizza.
A photograph that Amanda Raye shared on social media displayed the injuries that she sustained as a result of the assault.
These injuries included severe bruising, cuts to her face, and a neck brace that was supporting her head.
Her face is stained with blood, and her lips are swollen, both of which draw attention to the traumatic nature of the experience.
It has been reported that the attack took place close to the headquarters of AT&T, in a neighborhood that is close to a church and a bagel shop, most likely close to Franklin and 17th Street, as indicated by Google Maps.
According to Raye, the adolescents recorded videos of themselves assaulting her, and as a result, she was left with a damaged watch and that her phone was broken.
She was taken to the hospital to receive treatment for her injuries after the incident, and she has since started the process of filing a report with the police concerning the incident. None of Raye’s possessions were taken by the individuals under suspicion.
