A Butler County teacher has been placed on leave while the school conducts an investigation.
According to the Talawanda School District, a Talawanda Middle School teacher has been placed on administrative leave.
The district did not provide many details about the investigation, but did state that it is about students and/or student discipline.
“The district has become aware that information about this incident and its students has been shared on social media and among community members.
The district understands that some of the information shared on social media is incorrect.
“This is another reminder that student information and student discipline are both confidential,” the district said in a statement.
The name of the teacher who was placed on leave this week was not disclosed.
This is the second teacher from Talawanda School District to be placed on administrative leave this month.
