Tina M. Cabudoy, 50, was detained by Santa Rosa police and the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office after it was discovered that she allegedly embezzled more than $100,000 from Amaturo Sonoma Media Group LLC, where she worked as a business manager, according to the Santa Rosa Police Department.
Detectives followed an extensive trail of unlawful transactions, including personal Amazon purchases and luxury hotel stays, that totaled more than $160,000. Cabudoy was arrested in San Jose, and further financial documents were recovered as proof.
Cabudoy has already faced suspicions of embezzlement. Hoodline reports that she was charged in early 2024 with stealing over $300,000 from a San Carlos technology company. That case, which was published in June 2023, resulted in her arrest in March.
Cabudoy is now being held in the Sonoma County Main Adult Detention Facility, with a $100,000 bail enhancement for embezzlement charges. The San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office encourages the public to help with the continuing investigation.
