Highest SSDI payments to be issued on these dates by Social Security for eligible disability recipients in November

It’s likely that you got your Social Security Disability Insurance payment on November 1 if your payment is low. The reason for this is that you might also be getting Supplemental Security Income.

An extra payment that can help you get by if your low disability payment isn’t enough. In this way, the payments made on Wednesday are usually the biggest.

They happen every second, third, and fourth Wednesday of the month. Because of this, the next SSDI payments will be made on November 20 and November 27.

What will be the highest SSDI payment on November 20 or 27?

For any payday in 2024, the most you can get from SSDI is $3,822. In November, this will also be the biggest disability benefit. Remember that in order to get such a big disability payment, you need to:

  • not be receiving Supplemental Security Income
  • have earned the taxable maximum and worked for 35 years
  • have filed for Social Security Disability Insurance at the required age
  • have had jobs covered by Social Security, so you paid enough payroll taxes
  • remain eligible and still have a qualifying disability

You must have been alive from November 11–20 or November 21–31 to get a Social Security Disability Insurance check or direct deposit on November 20 or 27.You must have started getting disability after April 30, 1997, of course.

Higher SSDI payments are expected on this date

You will not get the 2025 COLA in any of your December Social Security Disability Insurance payments. That means you can expect the same amount as your November SSDI check.

Still, the 2.5% COLA increase will be added to the January SSDI payments. The Cost-of-Living Adjustment for this year will be a little less than the average for the last ten years.

On the other hand, if your average SSDI payment is about $1,542, you will get an extra $38. That means your COLA disability payment for January would go up to $1,580.

People who are retired will get more money because, on average, their payments are going up.
