Double Payments in November for Some
Supplemental Security Income (SSI) recipients will get another check in November because of how the payments are scheduled this year.
SSI payments are usually made by the Social Security Administration on the first of every month. When this date falls on a weekend or holiday, like December 1, Sunday, the administration changes the schedule so that people get paid earlier.
On this occasion, people who get SSI will get their December payment on November 29.
