There are now more facts about the relationship between Olivia Nuzzi, a reporter in New York, and Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who was running for president of the United States. Kennedy Jr. dropped out of the race and backed Donald Trump.
In September 30, Nuzzi asked Washington, D.C.’s Superior Court to issue a no-contact order against Ryan Lizza, her ex-boyfriend and a writer for Politico. In his October 14 answer to the court, he said that he found out Nuzzi had been cheating on him with a married guy for almost a year. That wasn’t all.
“She admitted the affair and over the course of weeks of conversations she confided how she fell into what she described as a ‘toxic’ ‘unhealthy’ ‘stupid’ ‘psychotic’ ‘crazy’ ‘indefensible’ relationship with a 70-year-old ‘sex addict’ who told her he wanted to ‘possess,’ ‘control,’ and ‘impregnate’ her,” sources have said he claims in court papers.
The details get even crazier
Olivia Nuzzi had said before that Ryan Lizza “hacked” her devices to “stalk and surveil” her and gather information that he could use as blackmail to get her back into a relationship. The source said that Lizza also threatened to shame and embarrass her in public and do “professional damage” to her if she didn’t go back to the relationship.
After saying she had an inappropriate relationship with Robert F. Kennedy Jr., she was put on leave from New York Magazine. She became close to him because of the stories she wrote about him over the years.
The claims against Lizza are false, and he has said that he “begged her to tell her editors about her affair before they found out on their own.” He also said that the only way he knows about the affair is because she told him directly. But now that everything is said and done, this strange turn has taken the story to a whole new level.
