DAYTON, Ohio — Several fights reportedly broke out after an all-star basketball game at Meadowdale High School on Sunday.

According to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, deputies from the Harrison Township station arrived at the school around 5:38 p.m.

Before officers arrived, there were reports of several fights at the school. According to reports, there were at least 600 people on the scene.

Responding deputies were informed that the first group of juveniles reported to be fighting had already left the scene.

Several people were detained for disorderly conduct.

As more students exited the school, different agencies were asked to assist. Police say several arrests were made after juveniles failed to comply with school staff’s requests.
