Local school district cancels lessons for the rest of the week due to illness

Butler County, Ohio (WKRC) – A local school system canceled lessons for the remainder of the week due to illness.

New Miami Local School District administrators issued a statement on Wednesday telling the community that classes will be canceled on Thursday and Friday.

“Due to a high number of student and staff illnesses in our school district, New Miami Local Schools will be closed Thursday 2/13/2025 and Friday 2/14/2025,” the institution announced on its website.

According to the statement, no transportation would be provided for Butler Tech, catholic schools, or alternative education programs.
