A body discovered on the side of Interstate 75 is being examined as a suspicious death

A passing vehicle reported spotting a body on I-75 in the Ft. Mitchell area Friday morning.

According to police, the body seems to be of a man and was found several feet inside the overgrowth beside the Interstate. The body was partly deteriorated.

They say there is no evident evidence of death, but investigators believe the death is strange because of where the corpse was found and how the person was dressed.

The autopsy will be performed by the Kentucky State Medical Examiner. No word on a probable identification.
