Police say one person died as a result of a shooting in Hamilton on Tuesday morning.
Police said they were notified of shots fired on Clovernook Drive around 5:45 a.m. Tuesday.
Hamilton police said the shooting occurred following a “altercation” between two people, which resulted in one person being fatally shot.
Police are still investigating the shooting, but they are not actively seeking any additional suspects. Police did not say whether anyone was arrested or charged with the shooting.
The identity of the deceased was not released by police.
