According to SJCSO, Operation Poison Control was made possible by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement’s Tri-County Narcotics Task Force and the State Assistance for Fentanyl Eradication (SAFE) program, which provides funds and reimbursements to law enforcement agencies conducting fentanyl-related operations to combat the deadly drug’s distribution in local communities.
Those arrested in connection with Operation Poison Control were prosecuted by the State Attorney for Florida’s 7th Circuit and the Office of Statewide Prosecution.
